  Lovely location the street itself is cool with nice brick buildings, restaurant right on the water with a view of the beautiful blue bridge. Food quality is commensurate with the location. Not overpriced, good choices of original, tasty dishes. Pleasant place!

  Fishhooks food never disappoints. Very yummy, creative spins on classics. Lots of flavour. My only complaint is that it can take a while to get the food.
  
  If you’re looking for some delicious coastal inspired dishes - this is the place for you. Pricing and portions are great and they also have a great happy hour (which starts earlier in the day - if you are having a late lunch).
  
  I highly recommend this place!

  Came in for a late lunch so we got to take advantage of happy hour. The veggie pakora is divine! Make sure you put a squeeze of lime on, makes everything that much better. Also had the mussels and halibut fish and chips.

  We finally stopped in here for a late lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon (instead of going next door as usual). The food was (at the risk of speaking in hyperboles) amazing. I'd like to tell you what I ate but then the price might go up, the supply might go down, the chef might leave on the next barge. Okay, I had the Humboldt squid with the Red Shred. There, I said it. I'll be back tomorrow, the day after, and until those dreaded eventualities come to pass.

  Best meal I have had in Victoria in a long time. Server Aiden was super attentive and was very helpful in helping us with the menu. Food was very fresh and my mango old fashioned was delicious. I can't wait to go back again soon. You have to try their seafood chowder! It will blow your mind.
