amazing experience regardless of my diagnosis! she was kind and very informative. i have experienced intense stomach pain for 6.5years that have led me to the er almost everytime. i was recommended to see her due to a blood test result and she felt my throat and sent me for a ultra sound because she felt something which led to the ultra sound showing a nodule and i had a biopsy which showed i had thyroid cancer. she truly saved my life and iam beyond impressed with her professionalism and her knowledge.

Dr Smushkin has been the best !!

After trying for years to get my diabetes under control I was recommended to Dr Smushkin
After my first visit she switched my meds and insulin . Within a week I felt better , no more metformin stomach rages , and woke up with much lower sugars
I was waking up with 13 -20 every morning
Within a few days was down to 6.5 - 7.8 and slept like a baby
She asked in detail about my medicines , asked if I took the one in the morning and I said at night . It was a diaristic so I was getting up many times to empty bladder
Taking in morning now and sleep through the night .
I have never had anything but compassion and professional service at her office
Very happy to have been recommended and accepted .
One thing we must all remember ! Dr Smushkin’s degree took many more years than your google search for your problems . I would take her advice before trusting google !!

Dr. Smushkin has been fabulous. Under her guidance, I have been able to manage my illness so much better and my health will improve because of it. I have recommended that several people change their endocrinologist to Dr. Smushkin because she is knowledgeable, on the balll and doesn't talk down to you like some specialists tend to do. She has treated me like an intelligent human being who is co managing my care with her, which is something that is very important when dealing with doctors. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
