  Edit 2 (three stars): Peter has contacted me and provided me with the info I need. He claims that a customer was looking after his shop while he was on a test drive (this morning and 8 hours later this evening), and he must have been the one who answered the phone each time and presumably called me back. Peter was helpful with the questions I had.
  
  Edit (one star): After posting this, I received and missed a call from a different number, the voicemail is for Peter. I tried returning the call and got the exact same treatment: answered, ignored and hung up on.
  
  Original review (one star): I am simply calling to try to talk to a manager or one of the "wonderful" father/son duo. However, in the rare case where the person on the other line actually acknowledges me, they tell me the manager is not in and promptly hangup. When I call back and merely request to know when I should call back to be able to get a hold of management or one of the duo, the person answering the phone immediately hangs up. Incredibly disappointing and treatment that cannot even be called "customer service." This is by far the most appalling and dismissive an employee can be in a couple seconds of customer engagement.

  IF YOU OWN A VOLVO TALK WITH PETER! This guy is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He does great honest work for a fair price and doesn't rack up the bills like most places. Best Volvo shop in town hands down.

  Honest, reliable mechanics to entrust your Volvo with. Peter is great! My partner and I have nothing but great things to say after coming to this shop for years. The photos in Google are 100% the shop so don't let the other reviewer confuse you. If you have been to the shop, it is right in Chinatown (Victoria, BC) and is easy to find.

  True service like you can’t find anywhere anymore.
  Landsman Motors have proven time and time again to be an honest company with unsurpassed knowledge of all things Volvo.

  We have been dealing with landsman motors for years. They are the most honest people out there for Volvo auto repairs. I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
