(May 24, 2019, 7:55 pm)Great campground, mostly young families, even on a long weekend. I do wish that the staff would be a bit more strict about the acceptable fire size, there was one down the hill from us that made me nervous.

(May 21, 2019, 9:57 pm)This is a well maintained Provincial Park. Camp sites with tent platforms, tables on concrete pads and racoon boxes. Lively trails to hike and beaches to explore. There are many mooring buoys for the boaters as well.

(September 7, 2018, 7:07 pm)Beautiful campground. Park your car in parking lot and use available wheelbarrows to move your gear to your campsite. Several campsites have nice wood platforms for pitching your tent. Access hiking trails with great views. Watch for woodpeckers. Also access to tidal zone at low tide. Walk by the lagoon and watch for great blue herons.

(September 5, 2018, 5:27 am)This is one of my favourite places to camp in south western BC. Galiano is easily my favorite of the gulf Islands. It's big enough to have all the amenities you need and small enough to really feel like you're disconnecting from the world. There's plenty of great hiking and wonderful beaches. The campground is affordable and well maintained and has a bus that shuttles to the hummingbird pub.

(July 28, 2018, 8:26 pm)Camping in over flow campground on first-come-first-served basis. We have a child who has a life-threatening allergy to insect stings. Park Operator came and evicted a wasp infestation immediately! Awesome. Love the large wheelbarrows, which are shared around, to cart camping supplies from vehicles to campsites. Lovely beaches, enjoying swimming in the ocean, great hikes, and two beaches to explore. Absolutely a wonderful experience camping here. Highly recommended!
