(April 8, 2018, 7:10 pm)I attended GIFTS in the summer of 2014 as a first step into my filmmaking career. My experience with the staff, volunteers, and mentors was excellent. As a complete newcomer to filmmaking, GIFTS was a positive and creative learning environment to make my first short-film. The program is hands on and fosters both creative and technical development. Galiano Island is an inspiring destination and I would recommend the experience to any aspiring filmmaker.

(April 4, 2018, 7:27 am)I have been to gifts several times now and enjoyed all my time there. I have met many good friends and learned a lot from the mentors. Whether it's swimming in the gorgeous ocean or editing your film at the last minute gifts is always a lot of fun.

(April 3, 2018, 10:03 pm)This place I found to be really great. The mentors are very knowledgeable and kind to the students as well as professional. The food is also very well done. It is a great place to get started in the business and they do everything they are able to get your foot in the door and support you the entire way.

If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't have realized my passion. Thank you so much and I highly recommend GIFTS for people who want an experience to remember!
