Great Place, Friendly Staff! Highly recommend
Excellent staff my Pup loves the hair treatments and having her hair blow dried. She’s good with it all so it makes me a happy dog owner
I have been going to Ruffin It for over a year now with my Great Dane pup Luna! She first started at 12 weeks old (once she had all of her shots!) and loved it! At the beginning I did feel like the dog care was short of what I expected coming from Dogzies training in Kelowna BC where our family Kelpie was trained BUT a Great Danes needs are very different than a Kelpie and the LOBO land does offer more for higher energy doggies (even though the staff tell me Luna is very high energy at day care haha)
It is daycare, not dog training, I still worked very hard during the first year to make sure she behaved with and without myself present. My only complaint/suggestion would be to extend hours/drop off to start at 6 am not 630 am and please reopen one weekend day!!
I did temporarily try a pick up and drop off dog walker but Luna did not get the same mental stimulation she gets from interacting with the many staff members and variety of different dogs! The staff ALWAYS call me when Luna is not feeling well, they are cautious and isolate dogs they believe might be unwell for the health of all the other dogs which is wonderful. Luna does have short hair and has come home with some cuts here and there but there are always several staff on and I don't doubt that its just puppy play! Socialization from the beginning has made Luna friendly with other dogs, playful but also comfortable in a busy high energy area. I would not suggest dogs with behavioural anxieties, socialization issues or special attention to start with day camp since there can be a lot of dogs at once, but if your dog wants to play with others and come home exhausted this is perfect! Luna LOVES going, she starts winning in the car when we turn onto cloverdale! The pictures are an evening with luna when she has not been to dog care vs an evening that she has!!
I hear the staff call her nicknames and see them treat her like family. 100% would recommend.
