(March 26, 2019, 8:53 pm)Central location next to a highway. Renovated a while ago. It offers an area for older kids(5-12) and an area for toddlers(2-5). A few picnic tables, a basketball court, and has a decent open grassy area. There are some trees that provide shades.
The playground is not under shades or next to tall trees. PRO: If it rained earlier and had some good sun after, the playground usually dries up quickly. CON: Under direct sun exposure can get quite hot during warmer temperatures. Bring a hat and water for hydration!
Tip: During hot summer days, near or after sunset is a good time to visit this park.
BONUS TIP: It’s right next to a bike trail. I saw families who took advantages of this and have kids play here before they proceeded with their bike adventures.
No public washroom. Just something for family with little children to consider. -
