  Views of the city of Victoria are beautiful. Parkland is well maintained with some trails. Saw a hawk this morning sitting in an oak tree. Nice quiet place to bring a coffee or a lunch and just enjoy the view and relax

  Always great views rain, shine or fog. Now more parking around the corner so even easier to get the great view.

  The trails make for a fairly easy hike with a few steep inclines, or you can make your own way up through the Garry oak meadows. At the top, there are views of the surrounding area including the Ocean, the San Juan Islands, Greater Victoria, Mt Douglas, and the Sooke Hills. On a clear day, there are amazing views of Mt Baker and the Olympic Mountains.

  The park isn't super busy or anything but it still offers a spectacular view of Victoria and the surrounding area. You can even see the Olympic mountains from the park. It is in a residential area so it's not exactly closer downtown, but the park is easily accessible if you have a car. For food or restrooms, you'd need to drive back into the city.
