  The best place for fish & chips, fish burgers, & fried oysters, food isn't greasy at all, plus the homemade fries are fantastic! My husband & I would drive from Alberta to eat here! It's a must when we are visiting Victoria! Mmmm good!

  These guys had some of the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. You won't be disappointed if you buy food there. They were a quaint little store with outdoor seating. There was a lineup but it went fairly quickly. Well worth the wait.

  Halibut Chief's Plate was incredibly delicious and filling for 2 people. Would definitely recommend!

  The Galley is THE ONLY PLACE to get fabulous fish and chips in Victoria!! We've been buying dinner from The Galley for 30 years, introduced by my parents who were retired here!! We continued to get fish and chips here ever since, now we are retired here and still ordering!! I alway say, "why turn my stove on when theirs is already on"!!! NEVER had a bad meal, the fish is the freshest (I prefer the halibut) and the hand-cut fries are like my English grandma used to make. The other "joints" in Victoria don't cut it for this meal - don't be disappointed, call the galley - great staff!!!!
