  Fast, caught other major problems, and car works like new. They took my car in last minute to look at two problems I was having and found 4 more major problems. They were patient and when I gave them the go to fix it all they got the job done in less than 6. hours. This was with no appointments and they had to order the parts. Amazing. Thank you!

  They did a great job, taking me in on the fly when my car had broken down and I got towed there after hours. Worked with me to get the car looked at and fixed within a day - Great service!!! Nice people!! ...and what I also really liked is that they looked the car over while they had it to let me know about things that aren't a hundred percent and I will have to deal with at some point. Since I am not a car mechanic I really appreciate that!!!

  Typically, I do my own vehicle repairs, but have used Midas several times in the past for jobs that I don't want to do or don't own the tools for.
  
  I have had cooling system, a/c and other work done there and found the service to be good and the prices higher than average, but I don't mind paying a little bit more for great service and good work.
  
  My most recent experience was not good. A few weeks ago Midas mailed me a sheet of coupons, including an oil change coupon and a "summer service" coupon.
  
  I phoned and requested the basic oil change as our van was due. I was told by the man on the phone that they were booked up the following day, and that I could drop the vehicle off in the morning. They would get to it when they could during the day...no problem.
  
  I dropped the van off at 7am. Called at 3pm, nothing had been done, and I was told to come by around 4pm.
  
  When I showed up, the van was still on the hoist. I asked if they would be done soon and was told by the woman at the desk that they had found two small oil leaks (barely weeping, not a big deal), and they had left it in the shop in case I wanted to go ahead and do the work right away.
  
  I said no, and I'd just like my car back. This is when it got annoying. The bill was over $70 on a $39.99 oil change. When I asked how this was possible she told me that I had booked the car in for a "summer service package", which includes an inspection and a tire rotation. I told her that the guy on the phone had specifically told me that he could not book it in, and that I was dropping it in for the coupon oil change service.
  
  Obviously, there was a miscommunication in their office, but that's really not my problem. I didn't want to push the issue, so I just paid the bill and left.
  
  When I got home I checked my tires and they had NOT been rotated, as I was told they were. My front tires are worn on the outside edge. When I checked, the same worn tires were still on the front. They had actually gone to the effort to put my wheel key in a little Midas bag but had not rotated my tires.
  
  I phoned and asked why my tires were not rotated when that's part of the service I paid for the woman I spoke with insisted that they had been. I told her that I'm sure they were not as my front tires were easily identifiable. She told me that she would look into it and get back to me the following day (a Saturday).
  
  She never called me back. Basically I was charged for a service that I did not request, and it wasn't done properly. At this point, I'm not sure I will return.
