(April 27, 2023, 10:58 pm)This small, family-owned farm is simply fantastic, and produces top quality chickens and eggs. We first purchased their chicken at a small gourmet butcher, and after that we went to the source! We have visited their farm and seen it in operation. The birds are all free-range, and that makes a huge difference in the quality of the meat. We now have a cadre of friends who are also devoted fans. Their pork is also excellent. Ben has branched out and raised a pig just for us and we have enjoyed spectacular prosciutto and sausages. I am so proud to be able to support this excellent Alberta farming family!

The fact that they raise their chicken on grass and don't use any hormones or steroids in their feed is a huge plus for me, as I value natural and sustainable farming practices. But what sets this farm apart from others is the family who runs it - they are friendly, personable, and truly care about their customers. They make you feel like a part of their community and are always happy to chat about their farm and products. I highly recommend this farm for anyone looking for high-quality, ethical, and delicious chicken and eggs.

(April 3, 2023, 6:52 pm)We have ordered several roasting chickens from Jody and Noreen they are fabulous!! We even got a recipe from them which we still use on our chickens!! We also get eggs from them and have realized we need to order a bunch at one time because we go through them way faster than the store bought ones because they are delicious!!! Highly recommend Salty Lake Poultry !!!
The customer service is amazing and we always look forward to our chicken and eggs!!!
