(April 7, 2022, 4:40 pm)My first experience at this Goodwill St. Albert location and I loved it! The store is huge, but because it is so clean and organized it did not feel overwhelming at all. Impressive selection of brands in both women's and men's clothing. Lots of really nice, high quality men's dress shirts, better than I've seen at the other locations. Another thing that was really nice was the lack of low quality casual wear. You know when you go to a thrift store and find dozens of "BRIDE TO BE" and "KYLE'S BOOZY STAG 2008" t-shirts on the racks? Mixed in with corporate promo golf shirts and the like? None of that here! I really appreciated that. Huge change rooms that are actually open, unlike some other locations. By the time my friend and I went through every rack of clothing in the store, I didn't even remember to go through the housewares. Another reason to return. Great job, St. Albert store!
My only complaint about Goodwill in general is that, sometime in the past two years, they stopped organizing books alphabetically, and now organize them by day of the week they get put on the shelf. I'm sure that's much easier for the staff, but it honestly makes browsing the books a drag and really turns me away from the book section. I used to love buying used books and Goodwill, and this new organization system has turned me completely away from it. -

(April 2, 2022, 2:49 am)Great store 🏬 this is a open and airy store. What Goodwill does is great for society and this store exemplifies their message. They are doing a good thing. We shoe at thrift stores often and this is one of the best out there. My wife often complains that she gets congested at these kind of stores, but that did not happen here. We both liked this store a lot. We found some great deals and each day of the week there is a discount of 50% on a different coloured price tag. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this store and we will come back again.
