(October 6, 2021, 9:17 pm)Popeye's on Gasoline Alley Red Deer served me some top notch food today! The chicken tendres were the best I've ever had! The drive through was busy, so we went in to eat. The service was fast and the seating area was sanitized and very tidy! Thanks for the excellent meal Popeye's. Much appreciated!

(September 17, 2021, 9:50 pm)The food was ok, typical fast food style. The reason for 3 stars is because none of the food was very spicy. I tried a sampling, Cajun fries, spicy popcorn shrimp, and spicy chicken strips. They were all less spicy than a Wendy's spicy chicken, which is only semi spicy (to me anyways). I would go again but I won't expect any decent spice.

(December 22, 2020, 5:45 am)I've eaten it twice now at the Gas Alley location. Got a popcorn chicken meal first, and it was good. A holiday feast the second time, in the drive thru, and it took 4 minutes. Portions were great, chicken is really good IMO! I think the spicy is the way to go. It's a fried chicken place, I don't know why people expect perfection. In my experience, it's been fresh, hot and fast.
2020 Edit - got sick from Popeyes and haven’t been able to bring myself to eat it again , even though it was really good. I got really sick -likely salmonella. -
