Spacious large sites, trails are awesome for exploring, washrooms and showers were top notch, clean, running water, flush toilets, luxury away from home. Didn't seem like a provincial park. No real accessible beach that we found without going down a cliff. Firewood bags really small

Friendly staff and helpful, clean washrooms with flush toilets. Lots of trees which helped maintain privacy between each site and provided shade. Potable water at each site and electric hookups. Lots of hiking trails and close to the lake. A great playground for the children. Regular patrols throughout the day by park wardens. Firewood available for $10 per bag.
Bad things were LOTS of wasps and the shower facility was a bit of a walk from where we were. For one night there was a lot of noise and music coming from the group camping area after midnight. Over all I would recommend this camp site.

The visit was the 8th camping trip of 2021 and by far the best camp site!! The sites are big! Room for even the biggest trailers plus a tent so they are great for sharing with your people.

The washrooms were legit. Flush toilets and running water! What a dream. Decently clean and minimal bugs. The shower facilities were more than acceptable and cleaned regularly.

There were pit toilets in the campground. But they seemed to be in some of the areas. Definitely worth checking out the maps and sorting out the bathroom situation, if it matters to you, before you book.

There is noise. It's You can hear the highway (minimally) and the other people around Sylvan Lake which I assume is a healthy mix of other camping sites and private properties. There were regular park patrols and no noise I could specifically pinpoint to Jarvis Bay campers.

Great place to camp. Ground is a bit hard for tenting, but for a camper.. perfect.

Campground and trails are in great shape. Friendly staff and convenient location. Definitely book here for you're going to be in central Alberta.
