(August 28, 2021, 1:40 am)My husband, son and I toured the Fort today and enjoyed the site. We relaxed on one of the Fort's park benches by the Red Deer River and it was so peaceful...made us wanted to actually step into the shallow shoreline just to get the feet wet but we remained at the bench.

(August 24, 2021, 2:07 pm)We were there photographing a wedding. Nice place. Lots of people launching rafts to the river from this location. First time here. Lots of apace to have a wedding outside and a campfire in a sheltered area. Only bad part were the extreme number of wasps getting into the food. Staff moved refreshments inside. Nice day but a little smokey.
