We can’t thank Jen and her family enough for her wonderful hospitality and allowing us to have our small wedding reception on her property! 15 days before our wedding, we were scrambling to find a reception area - as we had to cancel the hall we had previously booked because of covid restrictions. My best friend and bridesmaid knew Jen through her sister, and got us in contact. Jen was so easy-going and wonderful to work with. On top of her great demeanour, her property is absolutely gorgeous and our coordinator was able to set up the most beautiful, intimate backyard reception. The walk-out basement provided some shade and shelter for our DJ, we were able to use the indoor washroom, and the surrounding green grass and wild horses made for a picture perfect backdrop. We were also able to have a fire in their fire pit when the sun started to set to help keep the bugs away. While our business with Jen wasn’t horse related, our day wouldn’t have been as amazing without her!
