This place is adorable! You must visit if you're passing by. Very cozy and the family who owns it is friendly, felt like being at a friend's house.

Service is amazing, selection is phenomenal-so many delicious snacks, treats and lunches & drinks! So many little trinkets from local artisans to choose from. There really is something for everyone. They go above and beyond for their customers. I am so happy we live down the street from them and can enjoy whenever we would like! It’s such a welcoming atmosphere-even my kids enjoy it there! Thankful for this gem of a place & the wonderful people that own it & work there! ♥️

Traveled 3 provinces and had to make sure we visited The Salty Mare while in Alberta.
The atmosphere is welcoming, the hospitality absolutely amazing and food/drinks were delicious.
This was one of my favorite days. I highly recommend the pizza. We opted for the Duchess.

The Salty Mare is a must stop in the little town of Duchess. The latte is delicious, and there is always a wide variety of tasty treats to satisfy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and there is lots of great gifts to buy too!
