(March 16, 2020, 10:56 pm)After losing my lab to cancer I waited and about a month later I randomly saw an ad on social media for pet adoption services and after a few clicks i ended up seeing a few dogs in the same place and one in particular stood out to me so on my next day off i went to the shelter to meet him and i did, in fact i met several that day. Then i saw a picture of then Catalina on the wall and was told some of her story and asked if I'd like to meet her as well. Of course i did and when she came out it was like we were meant to be. she was and is so loving and always wants cuddles. The staff that day and the atmosphere was amazing. It was very easy to see that all of these dogs are loved by the staff just by seeing how well they (the dogs) all loved being handled by them and how the staff interacted with the animals. They made my experience of overcoming the loss of a companion so much easier and i am forever grateful to them all for their stories and introducing me to my "Angel" now. I truly believe we rescued each other and none of this would have happened without the caring and amazing ladies i met there. The name of this place Cares K9 is 100% fitting to all who enter those doors.
(Angel and i went to visit a couple weeks later and she loved going back to meet her other humans. She carried no resistance to going there and i feel that speaks volumes on how well she was treated by everyone there) -

(October 7, 2019, 3:11 am)Love how attentive and caring the owners and staff are to these beautiful dogs. They go beyond and show love to every dog they save. These dogs come from high kill facilities and have to be nurtured back. Every animal is vet checked and loved as it is one of their own. They truly have a love and passion to help these dogs, mend them back to health and show them what love is.
