This place is great. We had fullhookups including sewer and we were quite happy.
The caretakers are great. Super friendly and helpful.
You could tell there is a lot of effort and thought that had gone into this place. A lot of the trees are small and be, and they will continue to grow.
The wifi was a nice addition. Decent speed everywhere I went in the campground

Great campground. Nice being close to the canyon where you could explore for hours. The manager is amazingly helpful and backs you in. General store is great. Sites are kind of small and open.

We have been staying here for a summer vacation for several years now. We like the full service sites and the easy parking access to them. Lots of things to do close by and in the valley area. The great people that look after the campsite are a wonderful bonus.

My family stayed in one of the new cabins for one night. We loved having the air conditioning, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and accommodating. For families traveling through without supplies like we were, having the option of paying additionally for bedding was nice. The bedding was clean, and beds were very comfortable. Quiet, family friendly campground. Washrooms were clean. Campground was not full when we were there so we did not experience any wait times for bathroom, but the host warned us it could happen. Showers cost $1 which is reasonable, except it took quite some time to warm up so by the time I was prepared to get into it, half my time was up. It turns off without warning, so bring an extra loonie just in case ;)
The ONLY suggestions I could make to the owners would be to add a lamp to the cabin, and post the store hours on the website. We arrived at 7pm and the convenience store on site was already closed- there is nothing else nearby. Driving into town is about 20 minutes (although the hosts were SO kind that if we were desperate I am sure they would have helped us out).

Very nice campground just outside of Drumheller. Convenient location across the road from Horseshoe Canyon. They have very nice showers which are coin operated ($1). Firewood is available for $11/bag or $30 for 3. There is a good sized playground in the middle of the campground making it ideal for family camping. Lastly the hosts were extremely friendly and I am looking forward to camping here again.
