(December 23, 2019, 2:17 am)It was very hard to look for a hall for a memorial service for my recently deceased wife. From the beginning, Ron was sensitive and beyond helpful. When we arrived at the hall to set up, tables were all out of the store room ready for us to set up and arrange. Ron was busy clearing every last bit of snow from the parking area so people could walk to the hall comfortably. When he was done with that, he came in and set up the coffee machine and poured the first pot through to make sure it was working. He filled an attractive dispenser with ice and water and set it on the table. Then he helped move chairs around tables and then found tasteful black table cloths for the table where the guestbook, urn and pictures of my wife were to be displayed. The hall was perfect for our purpose and Ron helped make it that way with his hard work and conscientious approach. Elmwood is lucky to have such a volunteer.
