We have just returned from Africa. A once in a lifetime vacation! There was no detail that Antionette or Dan left out. Their knowledge and passion showed through. The choice of accommodations were impeccable. We were made to feel like family where ever we stayed. In the safari camps the home made food, clean water, staff and knowledge rangers/guides was amazing.

The overall itinerary was excellent and executed to perfection.

We will have memories to last a lifetime.

Explorations Africa arranged a wonderful three-week vacation to southern Africa for my wife and me. Our itinerary certainly covered a lot of ground - Cape Town, Franschhoek, Durban, Zulu War battlefields, Pretoria, Rovos Rail to Victoria Falls, and finally, four magical days at a very small camp in the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
Our trip was perfect. Antoinette and Dan took the time to meet with us - several times - and listened carefully to what we were trying to do in terms of everything from the places we wanted to visit, to the timing, and the extent of the budget. The tour they put together was absolutely spot-on in every respect, and all of the in-country arrangements worked flawlessly. All the reservations were accurate, and we were met at the times and in all the places arranged. Nothing at all "fell through the cracks".
I give Explorations Africa a completely unqualified recommendation to anyone planning a trip to this wonderful part of the world, especially if, like us, this is your first trip to the region when you really do need some impartial and honest advice.

We recently returned from a trip to Namibia that was arranged by Antoinette and Dan. The trip was "spot on" from start to finish. Every facility and service was as advertised and promised. Antoinette provided detailed information on what to expect throughout our itinerary - there were no surprises. We can't thank you enough for the wonderful trip you planned for us! It has been 3 months since we got home and I still get goose bumps when I think back on our experiences. Every detail of our almost 5 week trip was looked after with the utmost professionalism. We started our trip with 2 gorilla treks in Uganda that were absolutely fabulous and finished with a jaw dropping wildebeest migration in Tanzania. The amazing thing is that all our camps and experiences in between were able to meet the standards established by these end points. Our camps and guides were exceptional and the animals we were able to see far exceeded my expectations.
I will admit to suffering a bit of trepidation about this trip when we started to plan it, however it didn't take long working with Antoinette before that feeling was gone. When you realize the experience and passion possessed by Antoinette, it is easy to put your faith in her plan for you. Every step of the trip was laid out in detail and a pre-departure meeting ensured any questions or concerns were addressed. Even invaluable camera equipment advice was provided by Dan!
I would absolutely recommend Explorations Africa to anyone planning to visit and am dreaming of the time I can book a return one! Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!
