Gord is a wonderful physiotherapist. He deals with all patients with dignity and respect. His breadth of knowledge is a highlight and his ability to understand and create a plan for recovery is better than any physiotherapist I have been to. Kiara is a very talented person to have as you walk into physio. She is kind, receptive and knowledgeable.

I took my son to see Ally Christie for physio. She is absolutely amazing! So is so informative and he felt so much better leaving there even after our first visit. We continue to see her but she also sent him home with some homework to strengthen his muscles on his own so we don't have to come in as often. That tells me so cares about the patient and not just about getting us In as often as she can. I highly recommend Lifepath - great customer service!

I came all the way from Arizona to see Gord after suffering a severe hand injury in a motorcycle accident. He's done amazing rehab on my hand and wrist and given me mobility I never thought I would see again. I actually burst out crying in his session. Tears of joy! LifePath is amazing. Thank you to the entire staff for caring so much.

    1 / 1

I have been experiencing knee pain for approximately 3 yrs now. Primarily in my left knee, the pain I feel is sharp and along the outer part of the knee cap. Research has led me to believe this is called IT Band syndrome and is commonly known as "runner's knee". I experience this pain when I run or hike any trail involving elevation, in particular, the descents.

I have worn a protective type brace at times as well as used kinesiology tape around my knee when I am running or hiking. However, I usually get to 4 km in running or 1 hour into a decent of hiking and then start experiencing the sharp pain at the knee cap.

Alley was recommended to me by a coworker, who had success with her ailment and was thinking she might help my issue.

At the time I saw Alley, I had completed 8 summits in the Rocky Mountains, each climb, enduring moderate to severe knee pain. Sadly, I developed a routine of taking pain medication at each summit so it would help my downhill climb.

My physio appointment consisted of some stretches and bends as well as some simple pressure applications with touch to confirm my IT Band was in fact the culprit. It sure was!

Ally was extremely knowledgeable in her field, and not only explained the issue at hand to me in terms I could understand, but she explained everything she did and why it will be beneficial to my knee problem.

Although there was some discomfort during my session, (I'm not going to sugar coat it), I was expecting that as the ligament running down my thigh was extremely tight and inflamed.

Alley's techniques helped to loosen the ligament and heal the inflammation. She demonstrated for me -three stretching exercises and two strengthening exercise to do daily at home which in turn will support the treatments she has performed.

I have in total, seen Ally three times for treatment. To date, I am running 5km twice a week and I have climbed two more mountains with absolutely no knee pain!

I cannot believe I had endured such pain for well over a year, convincing myself it was “an age thing” and a new normal for those over forty. Just not so!!!

What I loved most about Alley was during her introduction to me, she made it clear that it is always her goal to teach her patients techniques/exercises to do at home so that we are not dependent on her sessions alone for relief.  For that alone, she has my respect as my physiotherapist, and I absolutely recommend anyone suffering ailments, to book a consult with Alley. She is so skilled in her field and is an amazing healer!!!

Thank you Ally, from the top of Mount Yamnuska!!!
