  The food is amazing, the service was spot on and a great environment. Mercato is one one of the few places in Calgary where you will experiment Italian style on table. I love this place and I am sure you will love it too

  Very good food. Menu is 'family style' so you encouraged to order a bunch of stuff and share. Would be weird to dine here alone. Quite expensive. Bit of a snobby atmosphere.

  Had a disappointing night with the service, however, received a call from the manager (Ellie) the next day. Ellie was very friendly and understanding on the phone. She emphasized that the experience of her guests holds great importance to her and wanted to discuss why we had a poor experience. She takes pride in her restaurant and was able to rectify the problem.

  Every time I've eaten here I've been very pleased. The service was spot on, literally. My glass had a dirty food mark on it, as we were making introductions, hearing the specials and getting menus I'd noticed. He also noticed, I believe he'd seen me look at it. Right away took my glass, brought water and a new glass, set it down for me, poured the second glass of water. Like it was nothing what he did. It was smooth!! The rest of the night was excellent, food amazing, restaurant environment is great. The deep SW is lucky to have this location!!

  I love italian food and Mercato is one the few here in Calgary where you can go and experience Italian style on the table. The food is amazing , service is always good. I love this place and it's one of my favorite.
