I am new to Alberta and had sent my Wife and son up to scout around for a place to live. As they searched they came upon Oak Hill estates run by Boardwalk. The staff where friendly, open and helpful. They showed my wife and son a unit that had been refurbished and we signed a lease agreement for a year which included Heat, hot water and internet for a reasonable rate for a three bedroom compared to B.C. Even though I was working down in Vancouver B.C., with a bit of phone and fax and email we where set to move in a month later. During the time of waiting for the move we received a phone call from Boardwalk and was asked if we would be willing to give up the unit because of an emergency situation they had with another suite, We where told that another unit is being prepared for us and so I agreed, When we arrived the unit was clean and ready for us to move in and in a better location for us with in the townhouse complex. Although there where a few minor repairs required like a noisy bathroom fan they where quickly repaired.with in the first days. Our neighbours are friendly and my family are happy to be here.
