  A wonderful park, pathways are always well maintained, the grounds is nicely groomed and the views overlooking the mountains (on a clear day) marsh, rolling hills, and manmade lake is worth a look. Upside: Dog friendly!!

  This is one of my favorite places to take clients with disabilities, going on long walks, bike rides, sight seeing, fishing, or boating. It's right next to Heritage Park which has it's own cool features during the summer. People are always friendly and appear happy. It's a good environment to relax and read a book after a long day of work.

  A sunny day made for spectacular scenery. Great upgrades. An improved picnic area at the edge of the reservoir.

  A fantastic place to bring the family, your pet or just yourself to enjoy some sunshine and open spaces. The resevoir sure looks empty compared to a few years ago when I was last here. I remember younuse to be able to rent canoes here and explore, now you can walk many of those same areas.

  South Glenmore Park is a beautiful park to take your kids to. They have a variety park where there are literally a variety of games for kids to play and keep occupied. In the centre of the variety park is a an area with lots of water sprinklers and and a rotating water dropper, children sure enjoy this play a lot. There are showers just outside the washrooms. And the washrooms are really clean. There is a covered picnic area in one of the sides and atleast 6 picnic tables right besides the sprinklers. One can have food set up and relax while the kids have a good time in the water.
  There is also a walking trail along the Glenmore reservoir and numerous sitting benches along the trail. We also saw a lot of people fishing at the lake.
  There are no BBQ pits in the south Glenmore Park, so if at all one wants to BBQ, it's best if you carry a portable one.
  There are enough of covered waste bins in and around the park. And a big enough parking lot.
