(March 12, 2019, 3:34 am)Update: the guy called me back and fixed the issue with trans-union. I would still expect them to be sincere with customers and share whatever is the truth about their accounts and credit history.
Went there to open a bank account and the guy told me he would do a soft credit check for a saving account but he actually did a hard credit check and it hurt my credit score. Went there today to get line of credit, the guy (Rocco) applied for RBC loan!! When I asked the guy why, he is saying I won’t be approved for line of credit (why would he not tell me before he goes on for a credit check?)
I am closing my account with this bank
