  Dr. Ma and his team make a visit to the dentist as pleasant as possible. The facilities are clean with ample parking. Dr. Ma is excellent at giving needles to those that have anxiety. Would recommend to friends and family, no pun intended.

  I was a patient of Lorne's (previous owner and dentist) for over 20 years and was devastated when he left. However, after a few visits in the last couple of years I have come to appreciate the staff and Dr. Ma. Just had a cavity I needed to take care of. I had some nervousness and questions. Dr Ma was patient, calming and was fast to get this procedure done. He never made me feel nervous or rushed. Appointments are on time. Staff friendly and helpful. Thank you team!!
  
  Once again, I can't say enough about this practice and the staff. I have TMJ and Dr Ma and staff are aware of this and are so patient with me. Dr Ma gave me some tips on what to do before and after an appointment to avoid jaw pain. Kirsten is excellent when she does my cleaning. Giving me many breaks. I was so impressed, she even called me the next day to see how I was doing. Thank you Kirsten for your awareness, caring and gentle approach.

  Here is my profound story that I would like to share with all of you;
  I found my peace and overcome my biggest fear through Friends and Family Dental Clinic at Glenmore location in Calgary. I have this phobia all my life of seeing a dentist, the smell of the clinic and the white coat they wear at all times. I ended up being on denial that my teeth does not needs to be look after. But through the help of this young, confident, strong, knowledgeable and very dedicated dentist, Dr. Jeffrey Ma, along with his staff from front to center, I got the help that I deserve all my life. I overcome my fear, I enjoyed my visits, and I go home with the smile on my face. They chose the name, dignity and reputation of their clinic for all the good reasons. But one of the most aspect that fit right in, they welcome you, treat you like a family. They make you feel that you are home.
  We all deserve the best care when it comes to our health. Our teeth provides greatest foundation. Without a healthy teeth, we will never accomplish a longevity life. Through my experience, my biggest fear, and the success that I have found, I saw a piece of heaven at Friends and Family Dentist. If you are looking for the same place while being in the dentist office, please, come and visit Dr. Jeffrey Ma and he will show you the same token of affection and dedication that he showed us as his patients. You deserve the best care.

  Staff is fantastic, they were willing to work with me on a payment plan so I could reverse years of dental damage. The work done is fantastic. Definitely will continue to be my #1 choice for dental work!

  My experience thus far at FF Dental has been great. There are a lot of notable things:
  -Great website with lots of information
  -Like the email reminders and fact that I can email the front staff and get a fairly immediate response
  -Very thorough first cleaning and examination. I listed the things that create anxiety for me. Most places ask about your needs but don’t necessarily address them. FF Dental reads, affirms and cares about what your needs are.
  -The technology (this is in comparison to my last dentist, who was great but was missing some of the technology, follow-up and structure that I desire in a dental practice) is excellent. Some things worth noting: Digital images of all my teeth, in-house porcelain crown making capabilities using digital scanning of your tooth to create the crown, no more dental dams (this was one of my needs); they have some sort of mouth insert that keeps the back of your throat protected and the area being worked on dry.
  -My second appointment was for a filling on my top molar. Dr. Ma gave me the needle and I didn’t even notice till I saw the needle from the corner of my eye (in general I keep my eyes closed). That being said, the following week I had my crown done, this was on the bottom; I did feel that needle but nothing I would say that is out of the ordinary.
  -The overall process for getting a crown done was an afternoon but when you leave the office you have a permanent crown. No waiting, no worrying about the temporary crown cracking or falling off while you eat. Wish I had known that this existed years ago. Would have eliminated a lot of issues for me.
  
  Hygienists, Dental Assistant and Dr. Ma have been great. Everyone is very personable. Thanks Kirsten for the referral.
