  We've only lived in Calgary for 12 years before finally visiting this Calgary landmark. The ice cream is standard but lots of selection for flavors. The ordering scheme is unusual (half double or something weird like that). So I wasn't quite sure how much ice cream I was about to get. For 4 ice creams it was about $22. No photos, my phone was dead.

  I visited them first time today. They offer many exotic ice-cream flavours, so many that you can get confused very easily. Therefore, I decided to try before buying. I tried four different flavours. Although I took some time to decide, but the staff member was very patient and helpful. I decided to buy TIGER and CHOCOLATE BROWNIE MELT. I generally like chocolate flavor, but this chocolate brownie melt was great. I mean, it was better than Swiss Chocolate by Marble slab. Their prices are comparable to any high end ice-cream in town. Approximately $8/person. I am happy with the service speed and ice-cream flavor. I am taking one star off because I did not get the value for money i.e. I would want more ice cream for that price.
  Wanna wash hands or go pee? I don't see a public washroom there.
  It's crowded in hot summer days, hard to find a parking spot.
  
  Aug 5, 2018: I tried mocha java almond fudge flavor and it was also great. Customer service was consistently pleasing and we enjoyed our visit.

  Cute little ice cream shop with a large selection of flavours including all of your childhood classic flavours and some intriguing flavours you may not have seen elsewhere! I got the salted caramel and the chocolate chip cookie dough which were both very tasty and very creamy. The customer service was also great and I got my ice cream fast, like any ice cream joint on a hot summer Saturday you could be looking at long wait lines but that’s to be expected.
  
  Prices were a little high but definitely not what I would consider expensive due to the fact that unlike some of the higher end ice cream places this place gives you very large scoops as you can see in my picture my double was massive! So if you don’t want too many calories or too much sugar I would recommend a single for sure! You’ll want to come back to get another scoop anyways!
  
  The waffle cone was well cooked and tasted great albeit a little soft for my liking though so it became mushy fast under the hot summer sun but with saying that I would still recommend getting it if you love waffle cones like I do.
  
  Overall a great experience, nearby is a nice big bench with some pretty trees and flowers to sit by and eat your ice cream which is always nice! You could always pop down to the river too if you were so inclined so I definitely love the location as well! I definitely recommend checking out LICS - Leavitt’s Ice Cream Shop!
