  I was out of the cycling world for many years and decided to get back into it. Finding a great shop you can rely on and feel good about spending money in can be difficult. As a former bike shop manager, finding a shop like this was one of my personal criteria before dumping some coin. After making my rounds through many shops in Calgary, it was Pure Cycle that got my business. Great staff, knowledageble and helpful. If you’re in the market for a new bike hit them up. Glad I did.

  I brought a bike that I hadn’t purchased from them in to have fixed. They were quick to accommodate and repaired it on the spot. I had an issue that followed shortly after the visit, Erik stepped in and and took very good care of me. He had the issue resolved within a few weeks(part had to be mailed away and verified for failure). I would recommend Erik and his team!

  Brought my bike in as I needed some repairs done in August. They were crazy busy but they fit me in and I had my bike fixed up in a day. Staff was very knowledgeable and I will be looking there when I need new wheels.

  I had previously gone to 3 other bike shops looking for the correct bike for me and my wife to use during our retirement in the future. None of them would take the time to explain the advantages or disadvantages of a number of bikes we were considering. Fortunately we went to Pure Cycle and could tell immediately that the staff were concerned that we get the correct bike to suit our needs! They took the time to point out the various functions on the “Townie” and then allowed us a test drive before we bought. Good luck with trying that somewhere else. All staff were polite, courteous and helpful on future visits as well, when we purchased accessories.

  I’ve been buying and servicing bikes from Pure Cycle/ Calgary Cycle for almost 6 years now. 12 bikes later and I would still never consider shopping anywhere else in the city. Erik and his team provide the best customer experience from start to finish. They carry the top end brands and stand behind everything they sell. I highly recommend purchasing from these guys if you are looking for more than just a good deal.
