  I certainly never wanted a prostate cancer diagnosis, but I am truly grateful for the many professionals and volunteers at the Prostate Cancer Centre who strived to make my journey through prostate cancer as positive as possible. There was a lot of great information, sessions and support provided throughout the process. I do however think some Ativan or Tequila shots should be offered prior to the rectal exams and biopsies! Ha! A special acknowledgement to Anthony who removed my catheter (bless you!) and gave my wife and I some much needed laughs, as well as hope for the weeks and months ahead post surgery. Again I say thank you to all the volunteers and professionals, your efforts were and are appreciated. Thank you.

  After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, and having surgery in July, I have found the support and follow up at the Prostate Cancer Centre wonderful. This experience has been positive because of the expert medical care and the follow up programs that include yoga and exercise classes available to those of us who are survivors of this disease. The unexpected benefit to me is the support group experience that has occurred through exercising with other men who have also have had prostate cancer. Many thanks to Dr. Gotto, and all staff as well as the program staff Anthony and Lauren and Katie.

  My colleague and I had the pleasure of touring this incredible facility. We were both extremely impressed with the programs and resources offer here. Anthony took significant time to educate us and showcase the plethora of services and support provided for men facing prostate cancer, as well as their significant others. We are thrilled to know about this exceptional care and outreach right here in our city.
