(January 8, 2019, 8:20 pm)This is the perfect spot to grab a coffee if you’re strolling along the Bow river in downtown Calgary and need a quick coffee. There’s an abundance of seating available in a very chic corner of P&B, which shares a space with Charbar. The line can get long, but it moves fast.
They always have a seasonal drink on hand which is a treat! The quality of the coffee is superb, one of the best local spots in Calgary. -

(January 4, 2019, 4:01 pm)A bit out of the way but it's great to have good coffee in an area of the city that used to be a coffee wasteland. Expect to have a few people in line when you arrive. Service isn't incredibly fast but, in my experience, they are friendly and the coffee is consistently good. I find their espresso a bit on the tart side but not so much as to make me pucker. Great building with history and beautiful brick walls. Seating for about 30 at tables of 6. Could get up to 8 at a table for a meeting.

The coffee shop part (located near the south entrance of the building) has a good selection of seating/tables and places to work. The historical Simmons building also has a very cool charm to it - definitely worth a stop in.

(November 22, 2018, 10:01 pm)This was definitely a neat spot and I have always been fan of Phil & Sebastian's coffee. They take the time to properly prepare there espresso and any espresso drinks. I will have to say however that the staff never seems too excited or too happy. I don't know if it's a pretense thing or something else but I would like to see the attitudes change slightly.
