  Fresh baked pretzels, generous portions of thick cut meat, fresh toppings and homemade spreads... yes please!
  
  Around the Bend makes fantastic pretzels which you can order on their own or get in a deli sandwich. Even though the pretzel is the star of the show, this place does not skimp on the sandwich toppings. My favourite is the Steak Frite Twist: a sandwich featuring roast beef piled high, a sweet and rich honey garlic mayo, melty cheese, and fresh potato chips which contribute a wonderful salt and crunch.
  
  Prices are a little higher than regular sandwich joints, but given the huge portions and high quality, they are well worth the extra few dollars.

  Wonderful staff. Food is Great!! Sandwiches and Pretzels are a Must try! Price is fine, portions are big.

  The prices are a bit high, however it is definitely worth it. The food is so unbelievably fresh, and the pretzel bread is to die for. Everything here is fresh and homemade, and it really goes to show. Keep up the great work guys!!!

  Order sandwiches at your own risk; they are gigantic. Everything, including their sauces made in house. Highly recommended for a snack or a meal. They really took the time to explain the menu and choices. I was hooked the first time.

  We had a Hawaiian sandwich. It's on pretzel bread and is really, really good. If you're hungry, one is good. We split one and, with a shake, that's a good meal. I love the coconut mango shake. The sandwich comes filled so much that you need to use two hands and bite carefully or you'll lose it. It probably helps to keep the pick in it. I don't live in the area, but it's worth going out of your way to visit. It's tucked away in the back, so it's easy to miss.

Crisps are Around the Bend's answer to french fries and are simply delicious. My wife managed to finish almost all of them by herself and we had to order a second helping. Take my advice: if your wife is hungry, get the family sized order of crisps.
