  Kendall Hafermehl has been the Sabo family piano tuner coming on 30 years in Edmonton, Alberta...I speak for the entirety of the family(multiple pianos for that matter)that he has done a quality of work pertaining to piano tuning, voicing and reconstruction at an unprecedented level, respectfully; I am not being biased, but I just simply have not yet come across any piano technician that does the truly astonishing caliber of work as Kendall does. With myself pursuing full force the Classical, Romantic realm of this ethereal music, Kendall was always there since the very beginning and has not just simply nurtured my immediate family's Baldwin throughout my life, but has also nurtured me throughout my own journey to being an aspiring concert artist on a personal level; he is one of thee most caring, humble, selfless, passionate people I could ever have in my life. I would go so far to say he has been a mentor of mine for some years. Lastly, his rebuilds has that same level of care and passion I have ever seen. Our own Baldwin grand is a genuine and factual testament to that.

  My piano tuning was great, and Kendall is precise in what he does! Also very pleasant and helpful with the process.

  Kendall has been servicing our Heinztman Model D for almost a year now. His work has included installing a Dampp Chaser humidifier, regular tuning and, more recently, replacing the bass strings. Kendall is professional, knowledgeable, concise and friendly. Highly recommend.

  Kendall is a master craftsman. There’s love in his work on a piano. And he treats the humblest tuning with the same commitment as the grandest piano rebuild. I’ve had him do both. He also helped me purchase the right piano - twice. I’m a fan. As a serious musician I have a lot of people asking me whom to see about their piano. My answer is always: Kendall Hafermehl.
