  Good spot. Refreshing change from traditional fast food. Recommended they include butter as a condiment for food like biscuits and corn on the cob.

  I've been to this location 3 times now. Food is always served hot and tastes great. Portion sizes for combos are good. Nice that they are open later than most fast food places if you want to eat in.
  
  The dining area is a bit small with only having about 7 (4 seat) tables.
  One other issue I noticed is that they advertise on the menu board as having drinks like Dr. Pepper & Hawaiian Punch. These aren't actually available though. Just a little weird.
  
  I'll be keeping them in mind whenever I'm in the mood for fried chicken.

  I wasn't sure what to expect here. Last time I had Popeyes was in the U.S. many years ago, and it was overly greasy, soggy, and not delicious.
  
  That being said, this experience was completely different. This visit,I had a dark meat 4 piece and a small side of Mac and Cheese. The chicken was hot and crispy, and absolutely delicious. The Mac and Cheese was... Average. Nothing great, and not terrible. It just exists.
  
  The service here was great, and the staff were friendly. They threw in an extra piece of chicken because they were out of wings. Which is fine by me. I prefer legs anyway.
  
  All in all, the only thing KFC has above this place are their spices and herbs. Otherwise, Popeyes is bigger, meatier, tastier, less greasy, and cheaper.
  
  Would absolutely visit here again.

  I am amending my review that I had made about a week previous. Originally I had been to this new store on a busy night and had the unfortunate situation occur that I was told that fountain drink refills were 79 cents.
  
  What had bothered me is that this is the only store that had this policy and that since you get your drink and wait for your order you tend to drink some of it and the natural tendency is to top up the drink so that you can enjoy your meal as intended.
  
  I had left a 2 star review because the food was as I expected but the refill policy left me disappointed.
  
  I am now leaving a 5 star review because of the positive experience I encountered, not only from the owner who reached out to me but also to the management and staff at the Heritage Popeye's location when I went back.
  
  I am very happy to say that they no longer charge for refills and were extremely apologetic that such a policy had been passed along to their patrons.
  
  When it isn't crazy like a madhouse the staff all have smiles on their faces and seemed genuinely happy to be working at this location. The food as is to be expected was excellent and filling. What always gets me is that I seem to have to spend about twice as long eating a Popeye's 4 piece meal compared to the KFC equivalent. It is that much more food. So I guess I could probably move down to a 3 piece and save some time and money. Time will tell.
  
  It is no doubt difficult to please all the people all the time and is in fact impossible. I will say though that based on the genuine interest in resolving my complaint, the owners, managers and staff of the Heritage Popeye's location deserve to be commended for their proactive care to their patron's concerns. I will be very happy to be a returning customer for years to come.

  We don’t usually have fried meals but wanted to try Popeyes with all the locations opening. We had a good smooth service experience. The food was tasty but not excellent. While better than the other national fast food fried chicken spot, it still lacked great flavour. We did enjoy the breading (in terms of how it’s breaded) and the rice and beans was very tasty.
