  Went in for a meet and greet with Dr. Jody and I have to say out of the four vet clinics I’ve dealt with in Airdrie I have to say this one is by far the best! The staff are extremely friendly and very very well educated in not only veterinary medicine but also trained in the fear free certification as well so they’re better equipped to deal with a stressed animal meaning they won’t have to be given unnecessary sedation to keep them calm, there are separate kennels for dogs and cats as well as separate exam rooms for dogs and cats to keep stress to a minimum, the clinic is odourless unlike most vet offices that wreak this place is actually spotless, they will give you a tour of the ENTIRE clinic instead of sticking you in an exam room to talk to you, I didn’t get to talk with Dr. Jody for too long because she had other appointments but from our brief conversation I felt listened to, accepted and confident with her abilities as a veterinarian plus she’s got one hell of a handshake! Wow! I think I found my new vet! Also if you feed raw like I want to do, these people will work with you to get you a nutritionally balanced recipe instead of leaving you guessing! They don’t recommend it which they’ve said quite a few times but they won’t refuse to help make sure your pet gets everything it needs to be happy and healthy! I’m currently on the fence about raw or cooked or kibble so hopefully the staff here can help me figure out the best route for me and my fur babies. Will recommend to anyone who will listen!????♥️????♥️

  Last minute decision to drop in without an appointment, the receptionist fit us in the examining room. Our dog recovered 2 days later with no issues. They call us to find out if our dog was feeling better. Great place for a long term relationship for you and your dog.

  I have only been to the clinic 2 times. 1st impressions are everything and so far so good! Everyone is extremely patient and helpful. They have taken the time to answer all my questions thus far. Even though there are vet clinics much closer to where I live I will continue to go to heartland...it’s clear they are passionate and knowledgeable!

  Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Over the years Heartland has been our veterinary provider for three of our beloved dogs. Their advice and care has always been excellent. The services may be a bit more expensive than others, but worth it for the care received.

  I don't even know where to start!! The team at Heartland is amazing. They have been taking care of our dogs for a few years now. When our black lab Rizo was diagnosed with cancer. The team was right beside us through surgery, chemo, follow up appointments and especially when she lost her battle! They have always taken time to answer our questions and give advice. Dr.Jody and her team also took tremendous care of our senior yellow lab, Bailey both before and after he was also diagnosed with cancer that was inoperable!
  I could go on and on...now we trust them to care for our newest lab, Jethro
  Bottom line is the health of your pet is truly important to them. They also take of mom and dad!
  I have recommended them numerous times and will continue to do so!
