(October 9, 2020, 2:24 am)Where do I even start!! This was hands down the BEST customer service I have experienced ANYWHERE!!! The accommodations are mind-blowing!! The decor & attention to detail are truly extraordinary! You truly feel like you are living in medieval times!! The feasts are to die for!! We did a leather workshop, archery, medieval dancing, yurt yoga, moonlight drum circles around the fire!! We will never forget our experience at Encampment and can not wait for June to go back!!!! Thank you Sir Daniel & Lady Linda for your hospitality and your passion for what you do!
Oh!!! And they have the most amazing costumes and cloaks to wear!!! -

(September 8, 2020, 2:33 pm)The hosts Daniel and Linda were amazing. They really wanted you to enjoy the medieval experience. The royal feast was alot of home cooked food that did not disappoint.
I loved the archery...great safety protocols and the guidance was good. -

(August 30, 2020, 7:38 pm)This was absolutely fantastic! Sir Daniel and Lady Linda were very gracious hosts, and happy to answer any questions about the Medieval period. They're very accommodating too. The feast was just delicious and super fun! It's also breathtaking, and the costumes are exquisitely made. If you've ever wanted to literally be treated like royalty, and play with ancient weapons, you need to go here!

(August 26, 2020, 5:34 am)We have stayed at the Encampment for a weekend every August for the last three years with our kids, and we'll be going back for sure! We've had an amazing trip every time. The owners are amazing - super friendly and knowledgeable, checking in with us frequently and going above and beyond to make sure we were having a great experience. The Saturday night Royal Feast was the highlight of the weekend, along with archery. All the tents are beautifully decorated - the owners have a lifelong love of this time period and their passion really shows!

(June 21, 2020, 10:00 pm)Sir Daniel and Lady Linda provide an incredible experience here! The accommodations were stunning, cozy, and convenient. The outdoor kitchen was nice to have for the meals you prepared yourself and the meals they provided (breakfast and an evening feast) were very delicious! They are so friendly and knowledgeable about anything medieval and they work very hard so you can have a great time. The activities they provided were engaging and fun - archery was a big hit! Book a weekend or weekdays here for a lovely retreat!
