Bluebird Motel

The staff were wonderful, I had to call for help with the TV remote and he came to the room in less than 5 minutes and checked the connections and had it going. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet as its right off the main road. I would recommend anyone traveling through Clareshom Alberta the Bluebird motel and would definitely stay again.

Friendly folks in the checkout office. If you want to feel cozy like staying with family, then this is the place for you. The decor is retro and full of personality. Made me feel comfortable, like my great aunt Hazel's place. The bed wasnt too hard, wasnt too soft, like Goldilocks. We had to get the double bed room, but if you're traveling solo or with your partner, check out one of the themed rooms. Great location, close to a little bit of everything. The shower water pressure is phenomenal. Will try to stop in again when we move back down from Alaska.

Needed a place to crash during a multi-day drive. Coming from the US, little roadside motels like this tend to get overlooked, or are considered low quality. I can say that my stay here has been quite comfortable, the furnishings are very cozy. We all fell asleep immediately after several nights of tossing and turning on big chain hotel beds. This feels more like staying at a friend's house. The vintage fixtures and accents really give the place a period feel. While the wear and tear is evident, I feel it is a testimony to a the fact that many others found this place worthy before me. While I may never return this way, if I do I will stay here again!

VAS very convenient to the highway. Made a one night stopover while traveling south on vacation. Owner was very friendly and has a belief that comfortable beds and cleanliness makes a motel. And it is true. Though the building was old and in need of some repair the beds were the most comfortable of our vacation. The room was clean, the television stations available were numerous. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I ended up in a bad position, and we called the bluebird asking for help and a room. We checked in, and stayed for about 2.5 weeks. our stay here was absolutely amazing! Kristen and Gavin were INSANELY helpful and kind to me, going above and beyond their job requirements to be supportive and compassionate. I’m in love with the antiques in the room, the old western style, and the kitchenette made my longer stay SO much easier. The motel is pet friendly too, and so welcoming to my furry family members. If I am ever in town again, this will be the first place I stay! Thank you so much for your awesome hospitality :)
