Chinese Hot Pot Buffet ( 重慶火鍋 )

Great place for hot pot! The $15 broth + 5 item lunch and late night deal is fantastic value, but the shear variety of foods to choose from sometimes makes it hard to narrow down to 5! I definitely recommend visiting on multiple occasions to sample different things each time.

So far, my favourites are the Spicy Herb & Lamb soup, hand-pull noodles, feature beef, sirloin beef, and lamb. The spicy beef is good too, but is a different cut of meat that often includes tougher pieces, as are the quail eggs, but are served a tad bit overcooked. There are plenty of sauces to choose from as well, all very tasty.

Granted, I've only ever visited on late Friday evenings, but this place is always very busy. However, the servers do a great job at accommodating you and tending to your wishes, and aren't afraid to go the extra mile to make sure you return!

Going out for my birthday dinner is daunting at times. Many people have different dietary choices and issues but, when going to Chinese Hot Pot Buffet everyone gets to have what they want.

It starts with broth and meat choices at the table where one can order again and again. Next you wander around their massive buffet of raw ingredients to cook in your broth. So many fresh ingredients to choose from. I enjoyed seeing every plate going by with a mountain of greens on it. There was a delicious variety of meatballs, as well as, a display of beautiful seafood to choose from.
Our service was phenomenal as the staff wait on you hand and foot. Refilling teas and broth and meats whenever one needed. They we're super family and always had a smile on their face. The decor was beautiful with some very nice modern pieces and chandeliers. They had a couple of intricately sculpted walls very neat.
When you are in the mood for a unique dining experience with even the most pickiest of eaters I recommend going to the Chinese Hot Pot Buffet

Nice hot pot restaurant so far in Edmonton. Modern interior decor and vast of space in the restaurant.( most hot pot restaurants in Edmonton are very small space, and tightly to each other between the tables)
This place offered buffet which is great selection to choose, also lunch menu and late night options as well. Went for both services. Buffet line have many selection, appetizers, meat, seafood, vegetables, and noodles are fresh.
I went for late night menu this time, which is same price as lunch time.
Very good portion size for 5 items for you to pick. Huge selection of the soup to choose.
Service wise very good compare to hot pot place that I usually go in China town.
I will go back for more !

Came here for their late night dinner special, and was pleasantly surprised! For a very reasonable price of $15, you get to choose one noodle variety, and 4 other items from their menu. Definitely more than enough to fill me up! My only complaint is that the Tom Yum soup was lacking in flavour. Overall though, the meat was fresh, and the shrimp mash was very well seasoned. Satisfies my hot pot craving!
