(February 16, 2019, 3:29 am)I had the teriyaki beef. The steak was FANTASTIC. Very delicious. However, I removed a star because I asked for no onions but the order came with onions anyway. I have an allergy so I picked it out. I also asked for medium rare steak and it wasn't very pink by the time I got it, but it was very delicious so I have no complaints.
I would go again! -

(January 13, 2019, 7:03 am)This place doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, there are beautiful paintings on the walls and the staff are very friendly! I went for a birthday dinner and our server brought me a free dessert. I loved it here and would definitely go back!!

(November 21, 2018, 2:17 am)Beautiful little hole in the wall. I've been going here for almost two decades and have my Birthday dinner here going on 15 years. Amazing traditional sushi, and other hot prepared Asian dishes (the the Blackened Cif) the dishes are always fresh and the portions are perfect. Prices are very fair and the service is amazing. The employees are all very knowledgeable and quick to accommodate. The Chef is the owner and everyone seems to take pride in their work there (it shows). Never had a bad experience. They will accommodate larger parties but it's also great for a first date as it's a smaller spot and even when its busy, it never gets loud. If I'm not at home preparing elaborate meals, I'll be at Furusato for the Large Sashimi platter and the Volcano roll....and the Dragon Eyes roll....and the Chop Chop cone..and Hot Sake..........I could go on for ever

Out of almost a dozen places south of downtown that we have tried,... this restaurant is hands down the best for all things sushi!
