Great little Shop, treated like family. Been in service for years! (Family operated )

This review is more than 20 years overdue. I found Bob & Gord’s joint business card while cleaning-out some old boxes.

In the mid-90’s my girlfriend and I broke down north of Edmonton while heading home for the holidays. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday when we finally managed to find a shop that would even consider looking at the vehicle before Monday morning. We knew it was unrealistic and unlikely but we had to try as our funds were very limited; we could barely afford two nights at a hotel, never mind the unexpected repair cost.

With less than an hour before closing these folks diagnosed the problem and located a refurbished part. I believe it was the son (Bob...?) who stayed until almost 8pm to complete the repair. The charge was recognizably nominal. I’d say the service was great but, without a profit margin, it’s hard to consider this a service experience. What they did for us was a genuine act of kindness.
