Wow! An absolute experience! Great service and even better food. I know it's a Japanese restaurant, but that had to have been one of the best, if not best steak that I have ever had! And I'm Albertan, I've had A LOT of steak in my lifetime. Also, if you're a sushi lover, get the Chop Chop cone. It's delicious. And one last thing, it's gets a little bit toasty on the eyebrows of you sit at the cooking table.
A unique experience with a fun chef. I reccomend that you give it a chance as it has practically a 3 course meal with a spectical of a service. The wait for the meal can be a bit of a deterrent, but if have the patience its absolutley worth the wait. Also if it's your birthday, they put a fun little hat on you for the time.
So good! The staff are super genuine and relaxed and seem to really want to give you a great dining experience.
This is the oldest Japanese restaurant in Edmonton...about 45 years old. And it is a hidden gem! The place looks exactly as a Traditional Japanese house. The service is very good and polite. We went for teppanyaki and the kids absolutely loved it! The food was great, quality ingredients and very savory but not too overdue. The ambience is perfect if you are looking for a place to have good food and conversation as there are no TVs!!! Or any other type of entertainment.
We will come back for sure!
This is by far the best sushi restaurant in Edmonton! This place is not cheap though, but no good sushi place in Edmonton is. This place is good for lunch and dinner. If you want to get a bang for your buck, get the bento box during lunch. It is truly good! This place has lots of nice Japanese decor. The only thing I wish they would change is the amount of available parking. I have an SUV and they have a small parking lot that’s only for smaller cars.
