We recommend Alcam for your renovation project! Our renovation encompassed the main floor of our walk-out bungalow including a completely new kitchen, new master en-suite bathroom, removal of interior walls and installation of a beam, removal of a closet, painting the main floor, adding hardwood and re-staining the existing hardwood floors, new entrance tiles, and new counters, tiles and fixtures in 4 bathrooms. Doug and Arlene were very professional from start to finish. They have excellent trades people that were always respectful of our home. The renovations were completed on time and we are very happy with the quality of the work they completed. We are thrilled with our newly renovated home. We have recommended them to friends and family!

WOW!!! The transformation is unbelievable. Doug, Arlene and crew knocked this one right out of the park. You have given me a brand new, up-to-date house that looks fantastic. I really appreciate the quality of the work: the whole new infrastructure (plumbing, electrical, etc.) along with making it look fantastic. Everything was done to my satisfaction. I also appreciated the time you took to deal with my concerns during the construction. I found a high level of professionalism and effort to understand what I wanted and not compromise the high standard construction methods to achieve a wonderful job. I interviewed the Alcam team after speaking with a few other renovation companies, and made the immediate decision to hire them for a complete reno of my house (flooring, painting, kitchen update, bathroom update, lighting update). Since I have MS, my house is set up to recognize my disability and I couldn’t stay there during the renos or be out of the house for an extended period of time .

The Alcam team exceeded my expectations in working around my availability as I was out of town for the duration of the construction. While I was away, they kept in touch on a regular basis to let me know progress and to discuss any unforeseen issues; these issues were dealt with efficiently and effectively.

They completed the work in 4 weeks, starting end of November. When I came home January 1, it was to a new home that was all set up; I didn’t need to do a thing, except unpack. Their commitment to getting the work done on time and coordinating the move-out/move-in process meant that this was extremely easy for me, which I appreciate immensely because of my disability.

We recently went through a kitchen renovation and choose Alcam to do the construction work. Right from the beginning we felt confident we had the right company doing the work. The renovation included removing the wall between the kitchen and living area creating an open concept. Going from a popcorn ceiling to a smooth, clean look. Taking some space from the chimney area to make room for a broom closet. Then changing the flooring to create a cohesive space. We did the deconstruction work ourselves which helped save on costs. Alcam helped us there too so we knew exactly what we needed to complete.

Alcam delivered exactly what we wanted and provided very reasonable explanations so we knew what to expect along the process. They provided quality work without risk of compromise. For anyone wanting it done right, this is the right company. They will provide honest advice if something can or cannot be accomplished.

There are always going to be compromises in a renovation process. We have no regrets.
