(April 14, 2022, 4:09 pm)Danny at Royaltone has done a few things for me…he did a fantastic refret on my 1981 ES-335. I had him do it shortly after I saw the job he had done on a friend’s ‘68 ES-335. He had also done some work on my 65 Melodymaker. He did a great fret dress/setup on a refret/dress another local luthier had done quite poorly! It now plays as good as it looks! I highly recommend him. Courteous, professional, great communication and prices! An lastly top notch work!

I am very picky when it comes to how my guitars are setup and Danny gets them right, every time with precision detail. I won’t take my instruments to anyone else!

I am consistently stunned with the attention to detail that he puts into his maintenance work, and my guitars always feel amazing to play when he is done working on them! His experience in guitar repair is very extensive.
Aside from his proficiency in his career, he is simply one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I will always recommend people to Danny when it comes to anything guitar related! -

(March 29, 2022, 4:18 pm)Hey folks. I’ll be the first to say we have a great many guitar repair options but after working with Danny Roy for a few years, he’s my go to guy. He’s a serious musician himself and knows what it takes to make a guitar the best it can be. Honest to a fault, dedicated to top shelf results, and a great guy to know. Danny doesn’t default to mindless generic specs, he finds your guitar’s sweet spot and best voice and makes that the standard.
Danny just opened his own shop and I had two guitars in day one. They came home in perfect shape, he even held one back after finding a ghost in the electronics, which he diligently tracked down on his own time and fixed rather than return it in less than perfect working order.
Give Danny a try, you won’t be disappointed. I happily offer my endorsement and recommendation for all your repair needs to Danny at Royaltone!
