Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Calgary - Savanna

Kumon is a very good place for kids to build Excellent math and English skills. The teachers at Kumon are very Friendly and attentive Especially Mrs. Ali. I got very good math grades in high school thanks to Kumon. I was suffering in math but, when I stated going to Kumon my grades improved significantly. I Would Recommend Kumon for everyone.

Kumon helped me prepare for high school math! I reached level J before quitting due to the extra workload that high school brought, and most topics were covered directly in Kumon. Furthermore, it helped me build a strong foundation because even in high school, the basics (especially fractions) are essential to success. Before going to Kumon, I was a relatively strong math student, however, Kumon helped me further excel. I think the biggest thing that Kumon does is give you confidence in math and yourself. I always had the knowledge and capability to do well, but Kumon helped me realize that. For anyone who wants to prepare for high school, I highly recommend it!

One caveat is that you do need to be a proactive student. Otherwise, you may stagnate since Kumon is very self-taught (however instructors are always there to help). If you are a younger student this is good because it instills a good work ethic. However, if you are older and about to start high school (like I was), you do need to be self-motivated, in order to grow.

Hopefully, this helps anyone who is thinking of joining Kumon Savanna! If you are unsure, I highly recommend joining since it helped me a lot.

The owner is flexible and hardworking, planning diligently and taking time with each and every student in order to ensure their personal success. Kumon Savanna provides an efficient and engaging experience and will undoubtedly result in your child’s success. I graduated from the Kumon Reading program and Kumon Savanna offers the best academic service by a mile; the staff are helpful and make sure you understand material and the owner is accommodating to busy schedules. Kumon's assignments helped me with time management skills, which helped me score well my diploma exams and earn honours throughout my high school career.

Kumon Savanna does a great job at assessing a child's abilities and helping them master topics where other academic services haven't worked. Staff at the assessment were welcoming and helped excite my daughter to study. The owner is very hands-on in the learning process which has made it a lot easier and funner for my child to progress through the levels.
